The best part of using a slow cooker? I can sit at my desk during Gigi’s nap and work and it will just…cook!
When my husband walks into the kitchen around 5:00, we have a ravenous 15 year old that walks through the kitchen door as soon as he walks through the front, he’s sure that I must have done SO MUCH in the kitchen because it SMELLS LIKE I MUST HAVE BEEN COOKING FOR HOURS. But all I really did was chuck everything into the slow cooker and walked away.
As I’m sure you know by now, my teens are growing like weeds and have appetites to match, especially my 18 year old…he eats like he’s on a college football team, if you will…which he’s not. I’m not sure what’s worse: their appetites or their heights.
Here’s 29 Slow Cooker Dinners that they love and devour. There’s beef, chicken, soups, side dishes…the works.
And yes, my teens are giving them all a THUMBS UP which is pretty much the highest compliment they’ll give me for cooking.
Disorganized as I am, I’m surprised if I make it to the 4:00 hour without thinking about what’s for dinner. So if you’re looking for some easy and delicious ideas for Slow Cooker Dinners, this is a great collection.

Yep, lasagna noodles go right into the slow cooker with the rest of the meaty, saucy, ricotta, mozzarella laden goodness that makes lasagna so fantastic.
