This is a great dip for ritz crckers, club crackers or veggies!

Neiman Marcus Million Dollar Dip

Summer is officially here and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s time for lazy mornings, less homework and more relaxing. It’s also time to bust out the grill and fill up the social calendar (my favorite part!)

Since we live in Iowa, the weather is only perfect about 10% of the time. Although I love that we have four seasons throughout the year, I don’t always feel like we really get to enjoy all four seasons. For example, this year we had a “spring” for about four days (for real!) The weather went from 37 degree highs to nineties within a week. It was insane.

But, in a glass-half full attitude, it’s time to fire up the grill and get the bar-b cookin’.  😉

For our most recent get-together I headed to Sam’s Club (of course) for all of my summer cookout essentials (They offer the greatest low prices).

I picked out some of my favorite Sam’s Club deals available here:

Since I’m an appetizer lover, my favorite of all of these things is the Keebler Club Crackers to serve at a summer BBQ with my favorite million dollar dip.

This is always a hit and I love that I can have it out before we grill out for people to munch on, during dinner for people to have on the side with their burgers, pork chops, or whatever, then I usually put it away.

If our guests end up staying much longer then I will usually bring the (also known as) Neiman Marcus dip back out for an encore. Cold dips, recipe like this are perfect for that because they’re grab and go. That is .. if it’s not all gone by then.   😀

The Club crackers are also a must-pickup at Sam’s Club during grilling season as the snack packs are also perfect size to stick in the pool bag.

Or, eat while you’re surfing the internet, like our son.  😉

club crackers come in snack packs making them perfect for the pool or bar-b-ques!

Here’s how I whip this (not just one million! but what tastes like) 5 million dollar dip up!  😉

This Million Dollar Dip is one of my favorite barbecue appetizer ideas!

Million Dollar Dip Ingredients:

1 cup mayo
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese (I like regular not finely shredded)
3 green onions, diced
1 c. bacon, cooked & crumbled
1/2 c sliced almonds
1/2 tsp. minced garlic

How to make Million Dollar Dip:

Mix all ingredients and eat immediately, or store in the refrigerator for later. Serve with Club crackers at your next get-together!

Can I cook bacon instead of using bacon pieces?

You sure can, but I’m just going to tell you that this is such a quick recipe if you just use the Oscar Mayer bacon pieces. And, it tastes just as good, I promise.

What to serve with Neiman Marcus Dip:

Well, in my humble opinion, this dip is best served with Club crackers. But, it would also be great with any kind of veggie (carrots or cauliflower would be awesome with this one!)

What to add if Million Dollar Dip gets dry:

Sometimes cheese based dips like these can get really dry and look… not so appetizing. Adding in some mayo is a great idea in this case as it gives the dip a little fresh spin.

Million Dollar Dip

This Million Dollar Dip is about as easy as it comes! Enjoy with crackers, veggies, really anything crunchy - the cheddar, bacon and garlic flavors will go with absolutely anything!
