When you first read a positive pregnancy test, the flutters from the feeling of baby inside you are just amazing. Amazing in a way a new mom could never possibly forget!
Those feelings of baby flutters, though, are quickly masked by feelings of fear, maybe concern of paying for all of the things that baby will soon need… In my personal situation I couldn’t help but think where we could cut corners soon after the newness of the flutters subsided. Where to get free baby stuff quickly became top of mind, and so I set out to get every ounce of free baby stuff that I could.
For other new moms who are in this same situation, I want to encourage you and let you know that with just a little bit of work and effort, you’ll be able to score so much free stuff for your new baby, and save a lot of money! In this post I’m sharing exactly where to get free baby stuff, and all the different ways you can get some help.
How to Get Free Baby Stuff
There are four general ways that you can get free baby stuff. The top four ways for how to get free baby stuff are:
- Online
- By Mail
- Near You – In your immediate area
1. How to Get Free Baby Stuff Online
Getting free baby stuff online is probably the easiest option, as far as effort required. And this is great because there are so many companies and deals available online for you to reach out to!
Here are some of my favorite online deals for getting new stuff for baby for free (or almost free):
Four Disney Movies, Only $1!
You guys, this is by far my favorite cheap deal being offered right now. I completely realize that it’s not totally free (don’t hate the messenger!), but the money you will save trying to snatch up your favorite Disney movies from when you were little is going to be HUGE with this offer from the Disney Movie Club!
The best way to make sure you can secure genuine (and real!) Disney movies is getting them through the Disney Movie Club. Join here and you’ll get your choice of four Disney movies for only $1!
You’ll get movies every 4 weeks, or skip it altogether. Head here to learn more.
You’re going to LOVE these!
Free Baby Kit from Enfamil:
When you let the popular formula company Enfamil know that you’re expecting you’ll get a package valued at over $300! They often offer things like belly badges, free diaper bags, freezer packs to keep bottles cold and more. You can sign up here.
You might also get free baby bottle samples from Enfamil as well!
Sign Up for Rewards Programs Online
Like I mentioned above, the baby companies know that they need to win your love early and need you to be thinking of them often. So, in turn many of them offer some pretty sweet rewards programs.
One rewards program that always paid dividends when my kiddos were in diapers was the Huggies Rewards program. With every package of diapers there are several unique codes stuck onto the diapers packages. When you input these codes into the Huggies website they add up to become things like Starbucks gift cards (gasp! YES!)
You can sign up for the Huggies Rewards program here.
The Pampers Gifts to Grow program is very similar. You can also join the Pampers Gift to Grow program here.
Get Cheap Classic Baby Books
Dr. Seuss has got to be a favorite of 99.99% of all of us, and the best part if that the books are relevant eve today. They’re simply the best and let’s all admit that they’re actually fun to read, too.
The Dr Seuss Club gets your kiddos library going early with this offer. See all you’ll get when you join here.
Sign Up for Baby Registries for a Free Baby Welcome Package
Some of the most popular companies will offer a registry completion coupon that is higher than any coupon that you will ever get from that retailer again – but you have to be sure to sign up in the right way for the registry.
Here are retailers that offer a special perk when you create a baby registry with them:
2. How to Get Free Baby Stuff By Mail
The truth is that baby companies would love to know that you’re expecting a baby – and they’d also love to send you some coupons and maybe even free stuff!
