Saving at Target isn’t hard, and with just a few tips {like these 11 secrets about Target Cartwheel you need to know!} you can master Target discount coupons . . . and all they have to offer like a pro.
I’m going to tell you all about mastering the Target Cartwheel, the easiest savings program out there hands down. And all you need is a smart phone. Wait – you don’t even need a smart phone – seriously! Let me tell you all about how to get those Target promo codes added to your order.
Here are 11 secrets about Target Cartwheel you need to know so you can take your savings to the next level:
1. Target Cartwheel allows you to save an additional 20-60% off your purchase
And, it’s seriously simple savings. If you have a smart phone, add the Target Cartwheel app to your phone and sign in. You can sign in through your online Target.com account, your Facebook account and your Google+ account. If you don’t have a smartphone, sign in on your computer. You’ll use the program the same way that you would through a smartphone, you’ll just print off you offers before heading to the store and present your offers like a coupon.
** Your barcode never changes, so you can always print off your barcode and keep it in your wallet to show at checkout.
2. Cartwheel works with your 5% REDcard discount, a manufacturer coupon, a Target coupon, and a rebate offer.
This is crazy for real! On one item you can use FIVE discounts/coupons. Have they lost their minds?! Nope, Target is awesome.
You can sign up for a Target REDcard here. Having a Target REDcard doesn’t mean having another credit card. The free REDcard debit card gives you perks (namely the additional 5% off).
3.Check your Cartwheel on Sundays when offers are released.
Although some Cartwheel offers (like the hot holiday offers we’re sure to see) come out in the middle of the week, the majority of offers come out on Sundays. Check your Cartwheel offers then.
4. Cartwheel discounts are taken off an item after a Target coupon and prior to a manufacturer coupon.
Target employees are usually trained to scan your barcode after all other coupons, however the discounts come off in that order. But, if you have a REDcard the 5% comes off last – like a little cherry on top.
5. Target Cartwheel is best utilized by using the scanner.
Use the scanner on your Target Cartwheel to see if items have a savings offer. In the pictures below you’ll see the barcode in the upper righthand corner. Press that and you’ll be able to scan items and add offers to your Cartwheel. Easy peasy.
6. Add items to your Cartwheel as you go.
As you put items into your cart, scan items to see if there is an offer for it or type in a name/brand like “clothes or Iams” for example. This allows you to pay attention at checkout making sure everything is scanning at correct prices and assuring that every coupon gets scanned.
7. Target has free wireless internet.
If your wifi hits the skids when you walk into your local Target, go to your settings and find the Target wifi. It gives you a good signal and allows you to track down your serious Target Cartwheel savings.
8. Unlock badges to make more room on your Cartwheel.
When you sign up for Target Cartwheel you get the same as everyone else. Then, as you use it more, you unlock more badges.
9. Each offer is good for up to 4 uses per transaction.
And, you can use your barcode up to 6 times per day. That’s a lot of Cartwheeling.
10. Every week I release the Target Weekly Ad where I match up the best deals of the week. Be sure to check that out and look in your ad to get savings of up to 50% off by stacking the Cartwheel discounts with coupons, your REDcard, and rebate apps.
11. If your store has self checkout.
Ask a checkout attendant to input the bar code number for you. They’re happy to help and you’ll save some time by not waiting in line.
I sure hope these 11 secret tips will help you use your Target Cartwheel like a pro. Give it a shot, the savings will be awesome and you’ll love Target even more. {Is that possible?}
