Inside: We’re talking about the benefits of having a diaper subscription – Bonus: what we love about each diaper subscription. Spoiler alert: you’ll spend the same or less as buying in-store!
Best Diaper Subscription Services & Options in 2020
I am all about free baby samples and free baby stuff. Actually, I am all about anything baby, toddler and maternity!
This season of life can be stressful and isolating. The more information, help, and knowledge you gather, the better and easier it will be.
You’ve heard of the saying “the more you know” right?
Before I go into depth on diapers, don’t miss this awesome Stitch Fix maternity credit. Having one good pair of maternity pants for work or casual will be awesome, trust me. So, ask the Stitch Fix stylists for (possibly!) some free maternity stuff once you apply for your free maternity clothes credit.
On to all things diapers and wipes!
How do diaper subscriptions work?
Whether you’re interested in a Luvs diaper subscription, a Huggies diaper subscription, a Pampers diaper subscription, or you want to try a new brand (Hello Bello for example), they’re all pretty much the same.
You head to the diaper subscription service that you’re interested in, select your child’s size, and how often you’d like to receive diapers and pay.
It’s really that simple.
Below I’ve also outlined the benefits to each service as they really do each have perks unique to each company.
How much is a year’s supply of diapers?
Are you sitting down? The average child will go through more than 2700 diapers in their first year, which can add up.
By using a diaper subscription service, the cost will be budgeted in and never really change throughout the year, a nice perk.
How many diapers is a month supply?
Newborn babies soil more diapers in comparison to older babies. Therefore, if your baby is under one month of age, then you can expect to change 6 to 10 diapers per day.
Around this age, your baby may have 3 to 4 bowel movements a day and pee after every feed.
You’ll go through diapers like crazy, but it will slow down.
And, then you’ll be onto potty training at which point you’ll want this potty seat and this board book – two of the best tools to use for potty training and $20 total combined for the two things – and worth every penny!
Believe me: after doing diapers for so long, you’ll be ready to have every potty training tip in your back pocket.
What is the best diaper subscription?
In my opinion, I believe that the best baby wipes and diaper subscriptions are through Hello Bello and Target. Although, the free diaper bag with a Dyper diaper subscription is pretty cool, too.
Is a diaper subscription worth it?
Yes! Have you ever tried shopping with kids, in a store, with your cart full of diapers, paper towels, toilet paper and groceries?
On top of that, have you ever gotten caught in the rain, a thunderstorm or worse snow trying to push a cart with all of these things in the cart while also trying to unload this hot mess into your car?
If your answer is no … you’re one lucky lady/man (I know you men are reading this article, too!).
If your answer is yes … you feel my past pain and understand why I opt to get everything delivered, especially anything of a greater size that I possibly can.
How much is a diaper service a month?
As you can tell from the different diaper brands and options on this page, the prices can vary so much from company to company.
Most companies, however, offer free shipping with your diaper purchase, making subscription boxes delivered to your door the sure bet.
What is the best price to pay per diaper?
When you buy diapers on sale, you’ll want to target a certain price per diaper.
You can find this number out by taking the price of the package, divided by how many diapers are in the package. That is your price per diaper.
Remember that bigger packages are not always better prices.
Also, the bigger the size of the diaper, the fewer that can fit in the package, so the more expensive they are.
Newborn: 13¢ – 16¢
Size 1: 11¢ – 14¢
Size 2: 14¢ – 16¢
Size 3: 16¢ – 19¢
Size 4: 19¢ – 22¢
Size 5: 22¢ – 26¢
Size 6: 26¢ – 30¢
Is a diaper subscription gift a good idea?
Yes! Diapers are always welcome to any new parents I’ve ever known.
Before buying too many diapers or buying diapers ahead, be sure to check with the parents or parents to be.
Unfortunately, kids react differently to different brands of diapers. It would be no fun to have to return or exchange diapers if the baby has an allergic reaction.
For this reason, you might consider getting a gift card to one of these services so the parents can buy in bulk what brands are best for their kiddo.
