Thanks to Niki at Free 2 Be Frugal for the heads up about several FREE Music Samplers on Amazon right now. Here’s what you can download for free today:

  • Celtic Memories: 10 songs, including “Scarborough Fair” and “The Foggy Dew.”
  • Love is Free: 10 romantic songs, including “Two Hearts” and “As Shadows Kiss.”
  • Relaxation Sampler: 10 melodies, including “Calming Stream,” “Gentle Breeze” and “Healing Waters.”

I just downloaded both the Classical Favorites Sampler and the Relaxation Sampler. I’m loving them both. What a great way to end the day!

Nice. O, the Oprah Magazine is the Magazine Steal of the Week at Amazon, so it’s just $5 for a one-year subscription through Saturday (12/19). Grab this one while you can! You can also still get Parents, Fast Company, Family Fun and more for under $5. Thanks, Thrifty Northwest Mom!

Have you heard the news? Walmart has cut prices on toys AGAIN. First, they announced on 9/20 that they’d have 100 popular toys for just $10 (up from 10 toys for $10 last year), including the Play-Doh Burger Builder Set, Littlest Pet Shop Online Pets and LEGO Bionicles. You can find the complete list of $10 toys here.

Then today, they rolled back prices on 100 more toys, including the Bakugan Starter Pack ($8) and Hungry Hungry Hippos ($15). The Playskool Busy Ball Popper and Playskool Step Start Walk ‘N Ride have also been reduced to $17. Use these $5/1 printable coupons to get each for just $12.

In order to stay competitive, Amazon has price-matched on all of the toys above, though clearly you won’t be able to use the Playskool printable coupons if you shop through Amazon. With Amazon, you’ll be able to get free shipping on most items when you spend $25 or more.

On Walmart.com, many items ship for $.97 and many more can be shipped free to your local store (site-to-store shipping) This is a great option when you want to avoid the crowds and just run in to grab your purchases at Customer Service.
