Inside: Ever wanted to have someone pick out clothes for you and then choose from the options provided? It’s happening!
Stitch Fix has started offering a shopping section and I’m here with the entire Stitch Fix review to tell you everything that you’ll want to know about this awesome new service!
New Stitch Fix Shopping Service
I have always loved using Stitch Fix. But, the tides have changed (in a great way!) with the newest Stitch Fix option is a new favorite of mine.
You can literally shop on Stitch Fix! Yes!
What are the benefits of the Stitch Fix shopping feature?
1. Styles chosen by Stitch Fix stylists based on your style profile
2. Sizes chosen that should fit you correctly based on your profile
3. Free shipping to your home
4. Free shipping back to Stitch Fix for a return or exchange
5. 30 days to decide if you want to keep, return or exchange an item
How does Stitch Fix Work normally?
In the past, Stitch Fix has always offered the ability to schedule a “fix”. In your Stitch Fix fix you’d get five items hand picked for you from a professional Stitch Fix stylist.
The Stitch Fix styling fee was and still is $20 when you get s Stitch Fix “fix”.
Your $20 styling fee is applied to any items that you keep and if you decide to keep all of your items that were chosen for you, there’s a whopping 25% discount off of your whole fix, which often would make a fabulous deal.
However, my only beef with the Stitch Fixes was that there have been seasons where I have plenty of something, but the item (whatever it was: pants, tanks, etc.) were still always sent in my Stitch Fix. So, in turn, I’d want to keep everything else, but I’d lose my 25% discount if I didn’t want to keep everything. It would be a bummer when that happened.
No more! You can now decide exactly what is sent to you!
Let’s talk about the newest Stitch Fix shopping option! You pick exactly what you want and it’s mailed to you immediately with free shipping. Uh, hello … can we say amazing??
Here’s the thing: when you use the Stitch Fix shop option your clothes are still chosen for you, based upon your Stitch Fix style profile that you make when you first sign up for Stitch Fix.
However, the big difference is that only one item is sent to you and that item will be one that you choose.
There will be 6-10 outfits put together on the Stitch Fix Shop page. You can click on any of the items on the shopping page to get a closer look at the style, size, dimensions, fabric, etc.
After you add the item to your cart you’ll be able to check out like regular.
Like a regular Stitch Fix, if you don’t like the item, shipping is free to send your item back, or exchange it for a different size.
How much time do I have to send my items back or exchange an item?
You have 30 days from the time the item was mailed, so you’ll have plenty of time to decide if you want to keep, exchange or return something.
Sometimes I like to try things on a couple of times (keeping tags attached of course) so this is the perfect amount of time.
What is different about this new Stitch Fix service?
The biggest thing that is different from the shopping service is that you’re literally choosing any item from any outfit. You can choose a couple pair of shorts, jeans, dresses, shoes, really whatever you want!
How to choose the items that you want to buy from the Stitch Fix shop option?
The way that I choose to shop the Stitch Fix shop is I choose items that I despise shopping for in real life.
Since the outfits and items are picked out for my body type by real Stitch Fix stylists, I can usually count on the items being a good fit.
I don’t like to shop for shorts and have a really hard time finding shorts that work for me. Another item I love to buy on Stitch Fix is jeans. So, I always look to Stitch Fix for shorts and jeans.
And, since I know that I can try them on when I get them, it’s fine if they don’t fit I can send them back – no strings attached, not even a $20 styling fee, it’s perfect for me!
And, the prices are really reasonable, too so that’s nice.
So, there you go!
This is my favorite new Stitch Fix feature by far!
Head on over here to use the Stitch Fix feature soon!
