Candy Corn Popcorn Balls

Make these candy corn popcorn balls with your kids or to take to the party. So cute, unique and fun!

Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/2 c corn syrup
  • 1/4 t cream of tartar
  • 1/2 T butter
  • 1/4 t baking soda
  • 3 qts popped popcorn about 12 cups
  • 3/4 cup candy corn

Instructions

  1. Heat first four ingredients in a suacepan to 270 on your candy thermometer and remove from heat.
  2. Carefully stir in baking soda.
  3. Pour mixture over popcorn and toss to coat.
  4. When the popcorn has cooled just a bit (not too long) mix in candy corn and form with buttered hands into 3 inch balls.
  5. Set aside on buttered wax paper to cool completely.
  6. Wrap your popcorn balls individually and store in a container
