Ingredients

  • Ham Balls:
  • 1 pound fully cooked ham finely ground
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • ** If your grocery has a ham loaf mixture get that to save some time.
  • 1 cup crushed Corn Chex you can also sub corn flakes
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • For the glaze:
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard

Instructions

  1. Ham Balls:
  2. In a large bowl combine all of the ham ball ingredients.
  3. Blend until mixed and shape mixture into 1-inch balls (this is important to make sure they get cooked all the way through)
  4. Place in a single layer on a jelly roll pan.
  5. ** If you're making the full recipe you may need two pans, or just make sure they're packed in really close. They do not expand while cooking.
  6. Meanwhile, make your ham glaze recipe by combining all of the ham glaze ingredients until sugar is dissolved
  7. Spoon the ham glaze over ham balls
  8. Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes covered with foil
  9. Uncover and bake 20 minutes more
  10. Gently toss in glaze
  11. Enjoy!
