Taco Crescent Bake | An Easy Dinner Recipe

Easy dinner idea that the whole family will love! Perfect for leftover taco meat, too!

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of Crescent Rolls
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Taco seasoning for ground beef
  • 1 can petite diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded colby jack cheese
  • 4 cups of crushed Doritos more or less to taste
  • Optional toppings:
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Prepare your taco meat as directed on the package of seasoning
  3. Mix diced tomatoes into meat
  4. Spray 9x13 glass dish with cooking spray
  5. Lay out the crescent rolls in a glass 9x13 dish
  6. ** For crispier "crust" bake the crescent rolls only for 6-8 minutes at 350 degrees
  7. On top of crescent rolls layer meat/tomato mixture, sour cream and sprinkle cheese
  8. Bake for 15 minutes at 350
  9. ** If you baked the crescent rolls prior, only bake meat/cheese mixture for 5 more minutes (15 total)
  10. Add crushed Doritos on top
  11. Bake 15 more minutes
  12. Enjoy!
