Have you wondered how you can make extra money online? Have you heard that you can earn extra cash by taking online surveys? It’s true! Let me tell you the ins and outs of one of my favorite legit surveys for money, Survey Junkie.
This is the most honest of all of the Survey Junkie reviews!
Take Online Surveys for Money with Survey Junkie
Have you ever wondered “how can I get paid to take surveys”?
A lot of (real!) people supplement their income by making money on paid surveys, giving opinions, answering questions and offering advice online.
To be honest, I’ve had several friends reach out to me and ask “are online survey companies real”? Or, “can you really make money taking surveys”? And, even in this case in particular “Is Survey Junkie legit”?
With just an email address and some time, you sure can earn money and earn points and rewards toward money.
In this post I’ll be spilling all about how to take advantage of this kind of an opportunity, and how to go about getting started in this Survey Junkie review.
How do online surveys work?
For starters, let’s talk about how online surveys work. Companies want to know what’s inside your head and what sways (most of) your purchasing decisions.
And, fortunately for us, they’re willing to pay for those opinions. For instance, a restaurant chain might want to know what helps make your decision on where you’re going to take your family out to eat for dinner. Or, a frozen food brand might want to know what makes you choose one brand of chicken fingers over another.
You can give these companies the feedback they need and in return they’ll compensate you for the time that it took you to give your opinion.
How do I know what survey company to work with?
You have to weight the pros and cons, but I’ve done the heavy lifting for you with this company that I personally love, Survey Junkie.
How does Survey Junkie work?
When you originally start taking surveys with Survey Junkie, you’ll find out just out easy the interface really is.
After you sign up you’ll start earning points right away.
Here’s how you sign up for Survey Junkie:
Create an account on the Survey Junkie login page here (This is where I earned my first 25 points!)
Confirm your email address
Enter your ZIP Code
Answer questions in your user profile (earn another 50 points)
Take the new user tour that they call “How it works” (yet another 5 points)
Complete additional sub-profiles (10 points each) x 5 = 50 points
Once you’ve gotten your account started, and after you’ve already earned some points you can either stick around and start taking surveys, or you can accept surveys as they come to your email.
One really nice thing about Survey Junkie is that when you get offered a survey you’ll receive an email that tells you how long the survey questionnaire will be as well as how much the survey will pay so you can decide if you want to qualify to take that survey or not.
I highly recommend Survey Junkie if you’re looking to make money online taking surveys. Survey Junkie is for starters and is 100% free to join (never pay to join a survey company!)
In fact, upon signing up for an account here you’ll get your first allotment of points, you’ll get more for completing your profile and then more when you do you first survey.
And it has a super low payment threshold where you can cash out once you hit $10 in “points”. (A similar site that I used to do surveys for had a $50 minimum to cash out so this is substantially less.)
Another great benefit of Survey Junkie is that they give you points even if you don’t qualify for a survey (I told you that I’d circle back to that!).
This is a pretty big deal. Just imagine, if you’re a 45 year old female, and surveys are looking for what a 26 year old male says, what gives, right? Well, atleast you’ll be compensated for your time even if you’re not the exact person they’re looking for.
In these instances, Survey Junkie awards you 3 points for answering the screening questions, anyway. Similarly, if you start a survey, but it has been answered by enough other participants, Survey Junkie will award you 2 points for trying.
With Survey Junkie you can choose how you receive your payment. Choose your reward to be given via PayPal, Amazon, or e-Gift cards. There’s also no fee to redeem points – you can redeem them anytime once you’ve hit the minimum threshold.
How much does Survey Junkie pay?
In the first 30 minutes of being a member, I earned about $2 just from setting up my profile. Here’s how:
Create an account on the Survey Junkie login page here (This is where I earned my first 25 points!)
Confirm your email address
Enter your ZIP Code
Answer questions in your user profile (earn another 50 points)
Take the new user tour that they call “How it works” (yet another 5 points)
Complete additional sub-profiles (10 points each) x 5 = 50 points
Other surveys will pay depending on how much effort is put into the survey along with what they’re asking.
Is Survey Junkie easy to use?
Survey Junkie is the easiest survey company to use – and, it only focuses on surveys, so there’s no other fluff on the website, which is nice. You’re told upfront how much you’ll earn from each survey and the earnings box will always keep you abreast of what you’ve earned. I love that!
Is there a Survey Junkie extension?
There is a Survey Junkie extension called Survey Junkie Pulse. This is awesome because the extension will let you know when there are surveys available and money to be made!
What are the downsides to doing paid online surveys?
Well, sometimes you don’t qualify for a certain survey because of your age, or other demographic scenarios. But, it’s nice when you find a company who is willing to compensate you no matter what (more on that in a sec!)
Is Survey Junkie a scam?
I really like Survey Junkie and think that it’s a great way to make money online. If you have time to take surveys, and you want to earn some extra money online, this is a great survey company! This is another reason I like to do reviews like Survey Junkie reviews.
