If you are looking for an easy and frugal salsa recipe, Six Salsa is it as there are only . . . six ingredients! This salsa is perfect with chips, quesadillas or as a dressing on a taco salad. And, it’s one of the easiest that you’ll come across, I promise! Ingredients:
- 8 roma tomatoes diced (I use paring knives like these to cut my tomatoes)
- 7 green onion stalks
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves (taken off stems and chopped)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup Nakano rice vinegar (Get a $0.50/1 Nikano Rice Vinegar coupon here)
- Large jar Ortega salsa (amount depending on your taste) $1/2 Ortega coupon here (coupon no longer available)
Mix all ingredients and let sit for a few hours before serving. The above combined makes about 3-4 cups of salsa. Yum!
