If you’re around here often, then you probably know that I’ve got a little heading to Kindergarten this year. Our son is going into third grade, so the first day of school is old news for him, but our daughter is about to get a rude awakening… too many days spent in pajamas and playing make believe are about to get the full experience of recess, learning new subjects and ummmm …. lets just say … a lot more rules. My bad. Sorry teachers. š
And, with the structure that the school provides, I am fully prepared to have some exhausted kids for the first few weeks, atleast. On top of that, Fall is always our busiest time of the year. We have a birthday, football, softball, dance and basketball practice at a minimum – with a few surprises and not yet knowns thrown in for good measure.
Needless to say, I don’t always get the healthiest meals on the table. It’s sure not for a lack of trying though. I always have full intentions of making a tossed salad with dinner and assuring that all of the veggies are off the plate before the kids get up, but sometimes it’s just tough. Having a balanced, healthier diet is tough when schedules are hard to manage.
We always find time for our “roses and thorns” from the day, but I admittedly can’t always get every vitamin in all of us. I need help.
Which is why I was so excited when Nature Made® Vitamins called to ask if I would give their Nature Made® KIDS FIRST® Multivitamin Gummies a shot. In all honesty, we’re not really great about giving vitamins to ourselves, let alone the kids. And then we find ourselves getting rundown and realize that sometimes you just need a boost.
So, this year I’m ready to get back to school on track with some healthy habits. I’m choosing Nature Made® KIDS FIRST® Multivitamin Gummies (you can pick them up at your local Target) so I can commit to the best-in-class health routine that Nature Made® provides.
They’re a delicious, easy-to-chew gummy with flavors that my kids and all kids love including orange, cherry and mixed berry. Not only do they taste great, but they help fill many of the key nutrient gaps from our kids’ diets and support overall health.† With vitamins that taste good and contain 12 essential nutrients for age-specific nutritional support, including vitamins A, C, D and E, B vitamins, and minerals like iodine and zinc, we are making it a point. I keep them by the cereal bowl to make it easier to remember. With as many new things that the kids will have going on this year I want to be sure that they can stay as healthy as can be – so taking Vitamin C is especially important for their immune systems.
And, you not only can choose from the Multivitamin, but there is also a Fiber variety, a Vitamin C, Adult and Multivitamin with Omega-3 Gummies as well. Lots of choices if you ask me!
Go ahead, give them a shot, and be sure to let me know what you thought!
