This Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken Recipe is one of my favorite easy dinner ideas. It’s literally a “dump and go” type of recipe that can be thrown together in minutes.

You know how when people say they love crock pot season? I love everything about crock pot season so much so that I celebrate it all year round. I would venture to guess that our crock pot is running atleast twice a week in hopes that it will save the day and ten times out of ten, it does!
One of my favorite crock pot meals is this one right here. It’s a dump and go kind of a meal, and in my humble opinion, those are the best. The ones where you measure out your ingredients and literally toss them in the crock pot to set and forget while you get on with the day? 🙂
Here’s how this meal works out in a flash:
Gather your ingredients:
- 20 oz. chicken tenderloin pieces
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 oz. soy sauce
- White rice (to serve with chicken when it’s finished cooking)
Cut your chicken tenderloin pieces into chunks on a cutting board and pour into your crockpot. A 4 quart crock pot is perfect for this dinner. If you’re worried about food borne illnesses you could sure use a cutting board like this one that features a ‘Silver Shield’ Antimicrobial Technology that controls the growth of E. coli and S. aureus bacteria – pretty cool, ‘eh?
And, just for giggles, these are the best selling crock pots right now:
Note to make the chicken pieces about 1-2 inches big as they will shrink as they’re cooking and you don’t want them to completely shred in the crock pot.
Next, combine all the other ingredients in a measuring cup like this one. Pour this over your chicken in the crock pot and replace the lid. Seriously! This really is such an easy dinner… perfect for a weeknight!
Cook on low for 6 hours and serve over white rice. Be sure to get the juices from the bottom of the crock pot — those are what make this dinner over the top!
Sprinkle with (optional) sesame seeds and enjoy!
