Best Buy - 

Hours: Doors open Friday (11/25) at midnight

Price Matching on Black Friday? No.  Normally a consumer must show a printed ad from a local competitor, but the policy isn't valid on items for sale Thanksgiving day through Cyber Monday.

Free Shipping at Best Buy.com now through December 27. No minimum purchase required.

Home Depot - 

Hours: Doors open at 5 a.m. Friday (11/25)

Price Matching on Black Friday? Yes. If the customer finds a current lower price on an identical, in-stock item from any retailer, Home Depot will match the price and beat it by 10%. Excludes special orders, bid pricing, volume discounts, open-box merchandise, labor and installation, sales tax, rebate and free offers, typographical errors, and online purchases.

JCPenney - 

Hours: Doors open at 4 a.m.

Price Matching on Black Friday? N/A

Lowe's - 

Hours: Doors open at 4 a.m.

Price Matching on Black Friday? Yes. Will beat the price by 10% for an identical product at any local retail competitor that has the item in stock. Must bring the competitor's current ad or Lowe's will call to verify the item's price. Price guarantee honored at all Lowe's retail locations. Some restrictions apply. Call local store for more details.

Sams Club -  

Hours: Doors open at 5 a.m. Friday (11/25)

Price Matching on Black Friday? N/A

Sears -

Hours: Doors open at 4 a.m. Friday (11/25)

Price Matching on Black Friday? No. Sears does not offer price matching during special events including Thanksgiving day through Cyber Monday. At other times, Sears will price match within 14 days of purchase, and beat the price by 10%.

Staples -

Hours: Open 6 a.m. Friday (11/25)

Price Matching on Black Friday? Yes. Staples' price match guarantee applies to participating individual stores on the day after Thanksgiving. Must show the lower price on a new identical item, or within 14 days of the purchase and Staples will pay the difference

Target -

Hours: Open Friday (11/25) at midnight & open special hours Saturday (11/26) 8 a.m. -11 p.m.

Price Matching on Black Friday? No. Normally Target will match any competitor's price if you have the full ad, dated within the same time frame, price for price.

WalMart -

Hours: Open 10 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

Price Matching on Black Friday? Yes. The store will still offer price matching on an identical item before you make a purchase if you find an accurate lower price in an ad from a "local competitor." Internet pricing is excluded.

It’s safe to say that pretty much every Black Friday ad has been leaked to the public by now, so it’s time to start poring over the ads to find the best deals. While most stores will open their doors at 5 a.m. on Friday (or even 4 a.m. like Target), Walmart is taking a new approach this year.

Walmart plans to kick off deals on toys, home goods and apparel at midnight on Thursday and is calling it an “Open House” that will run until 5 a.m. when the hot electronics deals go live. Even better, select stores will offer shoppers candy, baked treats and even energy drinks.

You can access your local ad online to get the scoop on all the deals and when they’re available at those prices. Here are a few of my favorite deals.

• Nintendo Wii Game Console: $199 + get a $50 Walmart gift card (Friday only)

• Emerson 32” LCD HDTV: $198 (Friday 5-11 a.m. only)

• eMachines 15.6” Laptop: $198 (Friday 5-11 a.m. only)

• Kinect for Xbox 360: $149 (Saturday only)

• Kodak C183 Digital Camera: $59 (Friday 5-11 a.m. only)

• Leapfrog Leapster2 Learning System: $25 (Friday only)

Walmart will also price-match competitor ads on in-store purchases through Sunday, so if you don’t feel like running around, bring in your ads and Walmart will match prices on the spot at the register. Also, before you head out, get a map of your store at Walmart.com, labeled with locations of special items available 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. ** Walmart price-matches on specific prices, not percent-off or buy-one-get-one-free sales.
