For my opinion on the Shark Rocket PowerHead, Shark gave me this vacuum … but for real – you’d be crazy not to completely fall in love with this vacuum.
To give you an idea of my situation, the main level of our home has carpet, wood and rugs. It’s kind of a mess when it comes to vacuuming and keep up after an American Eskimo dog, two kiddos, a hubby and the four ever-changing Iowa seasons and all of the beauty that goes on (and comes in) with each of those things.
Until I tried the Shark Rocket PowerHead, I had to sweep with a broom (gasp!). Insert the problem-solving, most awesome Shark Rocket PowerHead here. The Shark Rocket PowerHead features a brush that is easily switched out and meant for wood floors – perfect for getting the dog hair off the floors, pieces or leaves, salt from the icy roads that was tracked in and any graham cracker crumbs that didn’t get taken care of by our pup, Lucy.
To switch out the brushes, you simply remove the brush you want to use from the compartment that holds the brush that is not in use on the side of the handle of the vacuum. Slide in two little pieces, which then releases the brush in use, and insert your desired brush. Store the brush that’s not in use in the compartment – easy as pie. And, I also love that I can keep each brush cleaner by having direct contact with the brush and bristles more frequently.
The Shark Rocket PowerHead also has 2 levels – number one and number two. Having these options available to use on carpet are really awesome. The 2nd level of the carpet setting (again, it has its own brush to easily insert) does a deep cleaning on the carpet. Like, you can actually feel the vacuum pulling up dirt. It’s an amazing feeling. So, while this vacuum is extremely lightweight to push (it feels like pushing only one pound) it really collects dust and grime from the carpet fibers. The first time that I vacuumed the carpet on our main level with the Shark Rocket vacuum I was a little uhhh… surprised. The carpet had just been vacuumed two days prior. Holy canoli!
And, then to empty the compartment where all of the dirt and grime goes you push a button and the compartment lifts up by itself. The little black button that’s on the side of the compartment that you see in the picture above empties the compartment. Seriously, the easiest thing ever!
The third awesome feature of this vacuum is the way it maneuvers around my home. I can get low to go under chairs and furniture, and with the slight turn of my wrist this vacuum turns so easily, avoiding trim and furniture legs. It’s so lightweight that vacuuming no longer feels like a chore.
Bottom line is that I stinkin’ love, love, love this vacuum. It’s made life much easier around my home and I can only imagine that it will at your home, too. If you want to buy this vacuum right now, you can get it here.
I’ll be keeping an eye on the price, too. If this awesome vacuum should ever go down in price, I’ll be the very first to let you know!
Thanks you for reading my review of the Shark Rocket PowerHead!
