Yowza. Just when I thought the Listerine Smart Rinse deal at CVS this month couldn’t get any better it totally just did.
So Listerine Smart Rinse is priced at $3.49 in June and you get back $3.49 ECBs. On it’s own that’s a pretty good deal.
Factor in the $1/1 printable coupon here and you’ve got yourself a nice money-maker.
Now snag yourself a mail-in-rebate (MIR) form and by plunking down $3.49 you’ve gotten back $7.98 per bottle. That’s taking money-makers to a whole new level.
One challenge: finding the tearpads with the MIR forms.
If you live in Cincinnati, cincyMOMS says you can find them near the Smart Rinse end cap display at the CVS on Cincinnati Dayton Road. I don’t live near Cincinnati so I’ll have to go to my CVS to see if the tearpads are in the same location. I also hear that Rite Aid has the tearpads.
You can also buy this MIR coupon on eBay for $1.11 plus $.99. It looks like the seller is auctioning off 4 coupons so maybe worth the price for 4 rather than 1.
The rebate offer does not expire until 12/31/08 so hold onto your original receipt and UPC code from the bottle. You’ve got plenty of time to take advantage of this offer so keep your eyes open next time you’re in the drug store for these rebate forms!
UPDATE: This shopper here at A Full Cup said she contacted Listerine through the web site to ask to be sent a mail-in-rebate form and within five days she received two coupons for free Listerine Smart Rinse. Click here if you want to contact Listerine to do the same. Good luck!
