Sometimes finding the time to get to the library can be a bit tough and paying to download free e-books from Amazon.com can get pricey, too. This is why I am so excited to share with you that you can save money by downloading the OverDrive App from iTunes or the Google Store here to get e-books directly from your library!
This app gives you on-the-go access to ebooks and audiobooks from your local library and is offered in conjunction with over 18,000 libraries from around the world.
It's easy to use, too. Once you create an Adobe ID and password and follow the prompts, simply head back to your Overdrive app and press "get books". After finding your library, giving your library card number, digital books are borrowed from your local library just like you would borrow a book at the actual library, except they're downloaded on to your phone, tablet or computer. At the end of the "checkout" period, the title will automatically expire so there are never any late fees.
Please note that you will need to create a username and password to Adobe.com and have an active library card to your local library in order to use this app.
