1) Use Buy-One-Get-One-Free Coupons: One great way to get free groceries & household items is to use a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) coupon when a grocery item is on sale buy-one-get-one-free to get two for free. I’ve done this many times to get free shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and more.
2) Use Two Coupons on Buy-One-Get-One-Free Sales: When you have high value coupons you can often get products for free or nearly free this way. A couple of months ago, Pert Plus was on sale at CVS buy-one-get-one-free (two for $3.69). I had two $2-off coupons, which more than paid for both bottles of shampoo.
3) Stack Store & Manufacturer’s Coupons: Both Target and CVS have store-specific coupons that can be paired with manufacturer’s coupons for extra savings. I recently got 4 boxes of Pop Tarts for free by combining Target web coupons and manufacturer’s coupons.
4) Hit Double & Triple Coupon Days at Your Grocery Store: Harris Teeter triples grocery coupons up to $.99 face value three or four times a year. Many other grocery stores do the same. I recently got over $30 worth of groceries at HT, including Chex cereal, Cascade dishwashing detergent and 4 bottles of Windex for only $2.
So what do you think? Do you have any more tips to get free or very cheap groceries with coupons?

We live in Florida, no double coupons, and if you have to print coupons to use, and we ran out of ink months back, got any suggestions? We have very few Supermarkets, mainly Wal Mart, Publix and one Safe Way. So we’re pretty stuck.

Use the grocery fliers to list all the sales of which you want to take advantage. I use a 9×11 student spiral to list the store, item and price and note if I am using a coupon. Fold all the newspapers and place them in the back of the notebook. Shop at the nearest Wal Mart Super Store because they will price match the other stores. Occasionally they ask to see an ad to verify the sale price. If sale items are store brands, they will match their store brand for it. I drive a little farther to get to Wal Mart, but I can take advantage of all the sales without driving to several stores. Funny thing… I’ve found the Wal Mart’s prices are often as low or lower than the other store’s sale price I planned to match.

Also if you go to safeway you can use cellfire to download coupons to your card and use them in combination with manufacturer coupons from the newpaper and store coupons. So even though you can’t double, you can stack a store coupon, with a manufacterer coupon and a cellfire coupon on the card (SW club card that is.) They have been changing some stuff latley about cell fire and how to do it. Also check the Safeway grocery website because there is also special online coupons that you can download to your card directly from the Safeway website.

If these people have a user forum, head to it and register
there first. Most of the new comers to this particular industry quite
without setting up a single penny due to insufficient correct direction.
