Money-Saving iPhone App #15: Coupon Sherpa
Many of you are familiar with the popular site, Coupon Sherpa, which specializes in online coupons and coupon codes for more than 5000 stores. Well, it’s also worth checking out the free Coupon Sherpa app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. While not nearly as robust as the web site, you’ll still a bunch of great money-saving coupons.
The Coupon Sherpa app uses geo-location (or zip code for iPod Touch users) to identify your location and suggest the closest locations to use retailer coupons. For example, I was able to find a coupon to save $5 on any Craft Book at Borders, and Coupon Sherpa even provided the address and phone number for the closest Borders.
I was able to find coupons for restaurants too, like Arby’s, Carl’s Jr., and Planet Hollywood. Just pull up the coupons on your phone and show your server or the cashier to get your discounts. It was really easy to use and Coupon Sherpa is an especially great app to have when you travel.
