Stock Up: Cleaning Supplies

It’s a good time to stock up on cleaning supplies in March and April. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it’s time to get down to spring cleaning! The manufacturers and retailers know it too so you should find good deals aplenty right now on window cleaners, sponges, paper towels and various other household cleaners.

There are lots of coupons available for cleaning supplies too. Here are a few to check out to save:

  • $1/2 Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Products
  • $1/1 Windex (Target has a great deal this week on Windex!)

You’ll also find loads of printable coupons for Lysol cleaning supplies, including antibacterial kitchen cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, disinfectant spray and all-purpose cleaner.

So, do you look for good deals on cleaning supplies or do you make your own? If you’re thinking about homemade cleaning products, you may want to check out this post from Mrs. Clean on how to make all kinds of cleaners, including glass cleaner, furniture polish, carpet freshener and more with what you probably already have around the house (baby oil, baking soda, vinegar, etc.).

I make most of my cleaning products, or just use things such as straight baking soda. I find it therapeutic to make products. Maybe cause I’m not crafty in other areas! Plus, it’s very inexpensive and I feel good about not using harsh chemicals in the house.
