Stop by Safeway this week to get two FREE Right Guard deodorants. I heard from Charlene at My Frugal Adventures that Right Guard is on sale for $1 with a minimum $10 purchase. Use this $2/2 printable coupon to get both for FREE.

It looks like this deal may also work at other stores in the Safeway chain since I heard from Kimberly at My Good Cents who said Right Guard is also $1 at the Vons in her area.

I thought Safeway wasn’t accepting printables that were more than 50% of the value of the item?
Am I incorrect?

I just looked up the sales here in the 92503 area and they are not on sale here. But I’m looking for another close site.

My Safeway won’t take an IP for more than 50% of the value now either. The policy they showed me was dated September ’08, and they are just NOW implementing it. So sad! (This is in Oregon.)

I also live in Oregon-I was able to get 2 free deodorants on Saturday with an IP-no questions asked. Today, was so excited to get 6 more. Well, I walked out with NO DEODORANT! The lady at the register showed me the policy-I was a little upset. BOOO SAFEWAY!!! I agree, SO SAD!!

Thanks for the link love.. I did this deal yesterday .. printed 2 coupons and got 4 free deodorants :)

Heather ~ I think it just depends on your store. Every manager seems to make up their own rules.. although I would guess Safeway has a general policy that all the stores should be sticking with

I found the coupon policy on Randalls website several months ago, and the no more than 50% value for internet printed coupons is included. I’m in Houston, TX and I believe Randalls is affiliated with Safeway. Here’s the link…

The rare times I do shop at Randalls, and have printable coupons that fall under the 50% policy, I know to be ready just in case the cashier does implement the policy.

Here’s the coupon acceptance policy for Safeway
