I see 3 Mr. Potato Head coupons. $5Mr. Potato Spud Buds, $5 Mr. Potato Silly suitcase, and $2 Mr. or Mrs. Potato Head. I don't know if the Santa Mr. potato head qualifies for any of the two $5 off coupon.

I used the $5 Mr Potato Spud with no problem since the Christmas Mr. Potato is a Spud.

The Santa Potato Head is a Spud Bud. Use the $5 off Spud Bud coupon. :)

I didn't even know they would be in a christmas aisle. I just went to the regular toy section and got 2 regular mr potato heads that were $6.99 and used 2 $5 off coupons so they were $1.99 each.

the "spud buds" are a specific toy, it is not the holiday mr potato head…sry this isn't right and shows bad couponing!

THE HOLIDAY MR. POTATO HEAD IS A SPUD BUD. IT SAYS IT RIGHT ON THE PACKAGE. THE ABOVE COMMENT IS FALSE & THIS DEAL WAS GREAT COUPONING! THANKS ;)

It is not a spud bud, these are spud buds http://www.amazon.com/Playskool-Potato-Head-Spud-Buds/dp/B000C22JGO for those wishing to use the coupon correctly…..

wow I think anonymous is miss informed. Coupons are coded and coded to work on more than one item. Saying it is wrong to use it for this item is like saying that you can only buy the item pictured. If the register takes it then it has read the code and you bought the proper item. I hope that helps you.

If you go to the playskool web page their are only two "spud bud" items and they retail at around $9.99 each The Santa is not one of them. It says "Santa Spud" on the packaging not "Spud Bud" the Spud Buds are the Spud's pets and vegetable friends.

Who cares, anonymous? You're making a huge deal out of nothing. If it works than it works which seems to be the majority of what happens when using this coupon for the toy. This is a great idea for "Toys for Tots" too!

I GUESS I MADE A MISTAKE WHEN I MENTIONED IN MY PREVIOUS COMMENT THAT THE COUPONS REACHED THEIR PRINT LIMIT, I GUESS THAT'S PER COMPUTER YOU USE. I TRIED PRINTING ANOTHER ON MY SONS COMPUTER & IT PRINTED ANOTHER ONE. SO I GUESS YOU GET TWO COUPONS PER COMPUTER, FROM WHAT IT SEEMS. I DIDN'T KNOW COUPONS.COM LIMITED HOW MANY COUPONS YOU PRINT. INTERESTING….

I once bought an item at Walgreens and accidentally handed the cashier a coupon for cereal, which was not anything close to the item i bought (can't remember what it is now). After he scanned it i noticed that i handed him the wrong q, so i said, "oh wait! I gave you the wrong q." He said, "Well, it went through no problem." So just because a coupon scans and works, does not mean that it was intended for that item. I think it went through only because the item i did buy and the item the q was for are from the same company. So yes, there are instances where a q will go through even though you don't have the correct item. Not saying that about this q since i haven't printed it yet but just my 2 cents.

I bought two this morning and it didn't even beep, if a coupon at Target doesn't beep I really think its ok to use, those machines beep at everything. As previous poster said, it says spud bud right on the box.

This definitely did not work for me. I had the Spud Buds one. Others are right that Santa appears not to be a Spud Bud. The coupon would not scan and came up as "invalid" at my Target. I don't know if this was store specific, or if Target is aware of this issue and has nipped it in the bud.

My Target would not accept this $5 coupon for the Spud Bud…they said that it was for the Suitcase Potato Head only. The register did beep and the manager told me that they could not be used on this product.

I finally found the santa spud at a Michigan target today and my coupon worked for it.

my spud bud coupon worked last night on the Santa. The manager was standing there talking with the woman when she scanned the coupon. He (the manager) asked where I got the coupon his wife could use a couple for their children! So I would say it is more than OK to use the spud bud coupon on the santa spud if the manager is going to get a couple!

Anaonymous is incorrect. Just because a coupon goes through, does not mean it's o.k. to use one that isn't for the item intended. When this happens, the store does not get reimbursed for the coupon since the item is was intended for was not purchased. It's people do this sort of thing that makes stores quit accepting coupons. So please do the right thing!
