For Holiday Deals, 15 to Follow on Twitter

Twitter is definitely going to be hopping during the holidays, and it’s easier than ever to find out about the latest deals, coupons and one-day sales in one place.

I’ve compiled a list of 15 retailers, deal forums and cash-back shopping sites to follow on Twitter. I’ve also added these all to a special Twitter list you can subscribe to on your own. Just follow me at @ErinGifford and then access my Holiday Deals list.

Major Retailers

Amazon: Find hot bargains via tweets with the Lighting Deal and Deal of the Day. Another Amazon Twitter account to follow is @AmazonMP3 for hot music download deals.

Best Buy: You’ll find deals, but also ambitious customer service, including online chats and texting options to help with gift ideas.

Kmart: Find out about online sales, Friends & Family events and Blue Light Specials.

Staples: Look out for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.

Target: Every day at 10 a.m. ET, Target tweets a new Daily Deal.

Toys R Us: You’ll find a great Deal of the Day tweeted each day (toys reduced 35-40% or more), as well as the status of the Black Friday ad and even updates on when Zhu Zhu Pets will be available.

Deal Forums

CheapTweet: You’ll find deals, coupons and tips, but also if you check out CheapTweet.com you’ll find a compilation of good deal tweets.

Deal Taker: Find hot deals in various categories. Plus, their new CouponBot will even fetch coupons for you from Twitter.

Savings.com: Find coupons, gift guides and giveaways.

SlickDeals: You’ll find tweets that are short and to the point – item, price, link.

Toys.com: A great compilation of the best prices, online-only deals and promotions for Toys R Us, Babies R Us and eToys.com.

Cash-Back Shopping Sites

Cashbaq: Find deals, prices, coupon codes and the cash back percentage you’ll receive when you buy through each merchant.

Ebates: You’ll find coupon codes, as well as Daily Double merchants offering double (or more!) cash back for the day.
