If you’re planning to give children’s books as holiday gifts, be sure to check out the selection of books online at Books-A-Million. They have a great range of books for little ones that start at just $1.77. Plus, get free shipping when you use the promo code BKLVFREE. Here’s what you do on the web site:

-Click the “Bargains” tab at the top of the page.

-Click “Juvenile Fiction” or “Juvenile Non-Fiction” in the box on the right that says “Browse Bargain Books by Category.”

-Sort the books by “Price (Low to High)” and click “Update.” You’ll see the books priced at $1.77 showing up in the grid first.

You’ll find cute books like Spot’s First Christmas, The Night Before the Night Before Christmas and Mommies are For Counting Stars all priced at $1.77. I also spotted a few Max & Ruby, Strawberry Shortcake, Eloise and Muppets books for $1.77 each.

I followed your instructions, and the first page or two was all stuff out of stock. Then I got pages and pages and pages of sticker and tattoo books???

That's very strange. I ordered some books last night and then followed the instructions in my post again with no problems. I did update it though to say you can find some great $1.77 books in the "Juvenile Non-Fiction" category too.

Do you have to join the Book Club to get the 1.77 price? I noticed books at 1.97 without the "club price", but it seems to require a $20 a year fee to get the 1.77 price.

I've ordered books from here before and yes you do have to be a member to get the $1.77 price otherwise it's $1.97. But that still is a good price. The books sell out rather quickly but I think they add new ones quite frequently. Also if you spend $25, you always get free shipping. At least I'm pretty sure you do.

Jennifer -Thanks for the confirmation on the club price. 1.97 is still a good price. I appreciate the info.

Milk Donor Mama,
You might try again. I was just able to find 8 nice books in Juv fiction and Juv non fiction for 1.97 each (non club price) and free shipping with the BKLVFREE code. They were all listed as in stock.
