I was planning for my weekly grocery shopping trip last night and as I was going through my coupons I realized my $7 Register Rewards certificate from Walgreens had expired the day before. Eek! So I tweeted on Twitter to see if it was possible to use an expired RR and then I did a Google Search to see if anyone knew.
I wasn’t getting answers fast enough so I just grabbed the ad, put a quick plan together to spend $7 and raced out to Walgreens (dear hubby for sure thought I was crazy).
After I completely freaked out over this expired coupon, the cashier either didn’t notice or didn’t care that it had expired one day before, and I was able to buy quite a lot too.

5 x Kleenex Tissue (120-ct)
2 x Bic Pens (8 pk)
2 x Aquafresh Toothpaste
2 x Tuf Paper Towels
With my coupons and my RR my OOP was only $.94. So, we’ve all had a freak out moment over an expired coupon or a missed deal. What was your freak out moment?
