I have three little girls and I love, love, love the way they look with hair bows. I just have one problem. We can’t hold onto them for more than a week. I bought 12 hair bows last September and I think I know where one is today.

On Sunday night we went to my in-laws for dinner and Nana bought the cutest horse bows from Gymboree for my oldest daughter. We had them in our possession for – no joke – three hours before they disappeared.

Hair bows for little girls aren’t exactly cheap so I went out in search of cute and inexpensive bows, as well as a simple way to store them (that may have been our downfall before).

Check out Hair Bow Club. These are quite cheap and really cute. I spotted a nice hot pink bow with 4.5 inches of ribbon (so not too small) for only $1.20. They also have a lot of smaller bows on sale this month for only $.80 each.

Another really nice site for hair bows and head bands is Creative Side Bows. Check out their Sale page for bows for $2 or less, and the red apple headband is only $3.50. So cute!

Finally, what gave me inspiration for this post is this amazing bow holder made out of an empty picture frame and three pieces of ribbon. I actually have an empty white picture frame sitting here next to me so I will have to replicate this. I hope having a place to hang them will solve my lost bow woes!

Do you have any tips for either where to find inexpensive bows, good ways to store them or easy do-it-yourself tips?
