I finally made it to CVS for this week’s deals. I kept forgetting to print out the $1/1 All coupon. Since All was buy-one-get-one-free this week I wanted to make sure I had two coupons with me.
I think I was stalling because I was contemplating two transactions and the second one was just so-so. In the end I’m glad I didn’t go for it since this helped me reach the point of cutting my grocery bill in half, but more on that on Sunday or Monday.
So here’s what I ended up buying on Thursday:
2 x All (buy-one-get-one-free; $6.49 each)
2 x Colgate Total ($2.99 each)
4 x Maybelline Great Lash (buy-one-get-one-free; $4.99 each)
2 x Johnson’s Buddies soaps ($.99 each)
Glade air freshener ($.99)
TOTAL (before tax): $25.42
Here are the coupons I used:
$5/$25 CVS in-store coupon (I often get this on my register tape or from the scanner)
2 x $1/1 All printable coupon
2 x $1.50/1 Colgate Total printable coupon (you can also get a $1.50/1 in the August 1 issue of All You that’s on sale at Wal-Mart now)
4 x $1/1 Maybelline coupons from the Sunday paper
$2/2 Johnson’s Buddies printable coupon (this may have been maxed out already)
$1/1 Glade coupon from Ladies’ Home Journal
$6.98 ECBs
NEW TOTAL (before tax): $1.44
