Seriously, is the $1/1 Physicians Formula mascara coupon just an urban legend? For CVSers, you now this is to go with the $7.99 mascara deal this week that gives you back $7.99 ECBs.

Some have said it can be found in the 6/1 SmartSource coupon insert. I looked back in my coupon files and could not find it. Mind you, my files aren’t super-organized, but honestly, I didn’t even have a SS insert for that week.

To further lead me to believe this coupon does not exist, I haven’t seen it listed either in the Taylortown Coupon Preview for 6/1 (or for any week for that matter) nor was it listed in the Grocery Coupon Database on the Coupon Mom site. I also could not find it for sale by either The Coupon Master or The Coupon Clippers.

So, do you have it? I just did my CVS run for the week and bought the mascara, but without the coupon. I live in the mid-Atlantic region so maybe it just wasn’t in my newspaper. Who knows. I feel like I almost made up for it though since as I was searching for a Cottonelle coupon from the 6/22 SS ad I realized that the one in my insert was for $1/1, not $.25/1 as it was in other regions. Now that was a nice surprise.
