Thank you for visiting Coupon Cravings! Sign up to receive my free daily e-newsletter in your inbox or subscribe to my RSS feed for my daily deal and freebie updates. You can also become a Facebook Fan or follow me on Twitter at @eringifford.

If you’re thinking about taking advantage of the fantastic Pampers deal at CVS starting today (spend $20 on Pampers Jumbo Pack Diapers or Pampers Wipes and get $5 ECBs) check out this helpful tool from the Penny Pinching Parent. She has a grid that tells you how many diapers come in every pack and every size for every leading brand.

I usually buy my diapers at Target. Right now my baby is wearing a size 3 in the Pampers Baby Dry style diapers and Target charges $19.99 for a box of 104. That’s $.19 per diaper. The size 3 Jumbo Pack has 40 diapers and these are on sale this week at CVS for $7.99 or $.20 a diaper.

It’s a penny more per diaper at CVS and since I’ll have to buy three packs to get the ECBs I’ll be paying $1.20 more in total. But…1) I’ll get back $5 ECBs *and* I’ll be using a $5/$25 coupon for total goods as close to $25 as possible. So that’s like taking an extra 20% off the cost of the diapers or about $4.79.

I also have a $2/2 coupon from the P&G coupons this weekend *and* I have a $1.50/1 that I received in the mail. All told I expect to spend $15.68 or $.13 per diaper (not even counting the $5 ECBs I’ll get back or the $12 ECBs I’ll be using toward the purchase).
